The big thing about this outdoor griddle is the material of the plate: cast iron. You have probably heard stories about it, and having a griddle made out of it is a great plus! 4.1 Nonmetal ceramic plate

Seasoning is the process of creating a protective organic layer over the griddle plate material. This is done to keep the outdoor griddle rust and damage-free, yes, but it also has a great effect on the taste of the food. With every new meal you make on the same griddle, you create a better seasoning layer, thus improving the taste richness of the next meal. To make things simple, we will split the process into steps.
